And then chewing his bottom lip in even further display of "oh shit", because he doubts she's going to like the idea of him dissing a female in charge. ]

A boss is like... Um. A person in charge. Like, at work.

[ While often happy to correct his overzealous cursing in the past, she hadn't made it her life's work as would a nun. She was once just as likely to let him get away with quite a lot given her affection, but considering he's now forgotten all that, she thinks it's only fair he have to start at the beginning again. It simply isn't fair to allow him too much leeway when his ignorance has caused so much pain.

Dissing a boss lady is even worse than dissing a normal lady, my goodness Jesse Pinkman! Perhaps she ought to be glad that he forgot about swearing fealty to her. Who knows what he would have said about her?

[ Still, anything is better than nothing. Getting her a fish would likely be tired without proper research, given the woman must be around them all day...right? Anne's never been to an 'aquarium' but it sounds like aquarius and he said fish, so she can figure that much out on her own. ]

If you could find a book on exotic fish, that might be of interest to her, though it is rather specific. Jewels are a safer gamble regarding many. But why not craft a gift using one of your trades? If there is wood about, could you not attempt a small sculpture or box? Is there not enough time?

[ Jesse goes quiet. Stunned, utterly taken off-guard silence. If Anne could see him via video feed right now, she would see Jesse has gone a little pale, too. ]

[ She doesn't need a video to know she somehow struck a nerve...that or something's suddenly happened where he is. Concern overpowers her thought for further suggestions, so she halts her tongue on that specific matter. ]

I am certain she would appreciate any gift you have considered, as you know her better than I. If there is little time as you say, then I have concerns of my own, such as manner of dress. I cannot wear this gown to any gathering without first cleaning and drying it, and I have yet to discover the most appropriate shop to purchase anything new.
